Hiring your Easirent van
Hire a van with Easirent and you’ll be sure to get a great price, which is perfect for you as you will be currently be going through a costly situation. Also you can save plenty of time by doing it yourself rather than using a removal service!
We have just the right van for you to hire for the big move, our Luton c/w Tail Lift Van, a large van a with huge boot space and tail lift at the rear end for loading and unloading the heaver items like furniture. Store all of your belongings in the Luton Van and unload them with ease at your new home. Check out our cheap rates and flexible hiring terms on our Luton Van!
Think about the required van & timescale
If you’re moving your belongings yourself, start by hiring the right size van – too small and you may need to make a few journeys, too big and you may have problems parking (please take a minute to view our van range). It’s often cheaper to book vans on weekdays (Monday – Wednesday are our cheapest rates). But if you move at the weekends you may be able to make the most of our multi day & weekend special hire rates.
Parking & permits, arrange a parking space for the Easirent hire van & ensure you get any permits that may be required, parking & even for your local tip for any unwanted rubbish left behind.
Use moving house as an opportunity to sort out your possessions. Throw away your rubbish and separate items that can be given to friends or charity shops, even make yourself some £ by selling your unwanted goods at a car “booty”. Get boxes (Easirent may be able to help here) & if required Easirent could even supply a sack truck (trolly) for help with any heavy loads.
Start early. Packing always takes longer than anticipated, particularly when you start reminiscing over old photographs stored in the attic or you realise that you need to dismantle the wardrobe to get it downstairs.
Pack important documents together, such as birth and marriage certificates, and keep them in a safe place.
Don’t forget your new keys will need to be collected (label all existing keys for the new occupant).
Who to notify checklist
If you’re moving house, it’s important to inform the relevant people of your departure. Use our handy checklist to ensure no-one is forgotten.
Hopefully we have helped cover some things here to help with your move, all we ask is for you to return the Easirentvan when agreed (if you still require the van please call us to extend your rental period- this must be in advance of your end time) and please don’t forget to take all your things out and ensure the van is left in a tidy condition for the next “home mover”.
Here at Easirentvans.com we wish you a safe forward journey.
